Compact feeding line for a new Scandinavian customer

Customer goals: A line with reduced dimensions, for a new 800 ton servo transfer press, reliable and easy to use

In addition to the reduced dimensions, the customer needed a high flexibility of use of the line, a high level of automation and the reduction of maintenance interventions. These objectives were achieved through:
• A.S.A. software (automatic straightening adjustment) for automatic straightener adjustment which allows the automatic setting of the precision straightener, maintaining the certainty of the desired plasticization rate and allowing the reduction of risks resulting from incorrect adjustments
• automatic centering system of the coil in line axis
• automatic coil containment system through conical rolls
• high precision of the straightener thanks to the proprietary device C.R.S. (clearance reduction system) which allows great precision and reliability over time
• reduction of maintenance interventions and reduction of components assembled on the decoiler thanks to the innovative D.S.G. (direct servo gear) for the spindle control
